Our Mission and Vision
Immanuel
Our church name is Immanuel which means “God with us”. Immanuel is one of the names of Jesus, who came into this world to show us God’s love up close. We seek to follow him, and to live and serve together in a manner that reflects his transformational life, in the light of his sacrificial death.
As Immanuel, a people trusting that God is with us, we live in community and walk together as followers of Jesus. We are called to be the presence of Christ in our community, both within and outside our church walls and strive to be his hands and feet, his heart and voice to those around us. We believe God’s gift of grace extends to each one of us, and know that his love has no boundaries. This love and grace also extend to those of any sexual orientation - everyone is welcome into his transforming love, to experience the work of the Holy Spirit, to participate in the sharing of the Gospel, and to flourish in a meaningful environment.
Mission: Immanuel exists to encourage, equip, enfold and engage with all people to reach out and serve with the transforming love of Jesus.
Vision: Training people to love like Jesus and bring hope, healing and wholeness to the world.

Community & Partnerships
Immanuel is a unique community. We have much in common with other churches, of course, but God has led us to some unique opportunities. We believe in following God’s lead and so these partnerships help to shape our identity.
Community
We have a commitment to a number of organizations that serve the Brampton Caledon community - Caledon Community Services, Regeneration, Knight’s Table - to name a few! We are always seeking to connect, love, and serve in the name of Jesus.
