GEMS Girls' Clubs is a relationship building, club program created especially for girls! GEMS Clubs are offered in local churches and other Christian organizations all across the US and Canada. Girls in Grade 3 to Grade 6 are able to come. In our Gems club, many fun and exciting things happen:
- Participate in team building.
- Enjoy dynamic singing, creative movement, signing, and dance.
- Develop important life skills through badge activities.
- Learn how to apply the Bible to your life.
- Make creative and fun crafts.
- Participate in service projects that make a difference in another's life.
- Find answers to challenging questions that girls face today.
The purpose of GEMS Girls' Clubs is to bring girls into a living relationship with Jesus Christ. While helping foster this all-important relationship between each girl and Christ, other relationships are nurtured as well - between the girls and between girls and their counselors. Gems are organized into small groups with one leader or counselor for each group of six to eight girls. It is through these small groups, and the weekly interactions that take place, that faith is nurtured and developed, and long lasting friendships are made. The name GEMS Girls' Clubs is an acronym which stands for Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior. It clearly identifies the purpose for which the ministry was created. GEMS meet weekly on Monday from 7 pm-8:30 pm at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church.
